Expert Answers about RV Water Pressure Regulator

  • Can A City Water Inlet Limit The Flow Of Water Into The RV
  • If your city water inlet has a backcheck valve there is the possibility that it's clogged or damaged in some way that it's limiting the flow of water. There's isn't a way to really fix the backcheck so you'd be looking at replacement of the inlet. If you have a recessed mount design then you'll want part # 37262125, and for a surface mount design you'll want part # 37262165. You'll want to put some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 around the outer edge of the flange for a waterproof seal.

  • Solution for Discontinued Atwood 91602 Replacement Regulator for Water Heater
  • The Atwood 91602 regulator has been discontinued and is no longer available. According to Dometic, there are no other regulators that are compatible with this system. Unfortunately, this means the only solution is to completely replace the water heater. I recommend upgrading to the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR98SR. With an output of 144 gallons of hot water per hour you won't have to worry about running out. This uses existing gas and plumbing lines for installation, comes with...

  • Recommended Replacement Water Heater For An Atwood G6A-7
  • Since Atwood has been bought out that there isn't a direct replacement I recommend just completely switching away from a tanked system and going with a tankless water heater like the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater 60,000 BTU # FR98SR. This unit features a heating capacity of 13,000 - 60,000 Btu, well above that of your Atwood G6A-7. It has similar dimensions at 12-5/8" L x 12-13/16" W x 19-3/16" D so you'll just need to make some slight alterations to your cutout hole to fill in the...

  • Is There a Replacement Regulator For a GR-616 Regulator
  • The High Pressure RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30325 will work to replace your current GR-616. The problem being that you can not vent a regulator facing up. The regulator vent allows the regulator to "breathe" during normal operation and functions as a pressure relief opening in an overpressure situation. It should remain free of dirt and debris for the purpose of safety. If the regulator vent becomes blocked or the airflow is restricted for any reason, the regulator may operate incorrectly...

  • Replacing a Wintech 6020 Propane Regulator

This can be replaced with the Compact Low Pressure 2-Stage Automatic Changeover RV LP Gas Regulator, # 37207-31525 that is rated for 262,500 Btu. Currently we do not carry the Fairview 9984-A so I do not have the specs available to me and hesitant to recommend its use.

  • Troubleshooting Regulator Vent Leak and Regulator Replacement
  • There are a couple things you can try to narrow down your issue and find the correct option to fix it. First, you can make a mixture of dish soap and water, generously apply the mixture to your regulator. With all flames shut off, open your tanks and look for leaks. The soap/water mixture will bubble. Since you said that the leak didn't start until you changed your propane tank you may have a propane tank that was overfilled. Which is causing too much pressure and causing the regulator...

  • Parts Needed To Run Ozark Trail 2 Burner Stove of RVs Propane Tanks
  • So your Ozark Trail 2 burner stove is designed for a disposable cylinder and will not work with a low pressure port on your RV due to the stove having a built in regulator and needing unregulated propane.
